PEN TURNING WORKSHOP with Emma Hofmeyer

Interested in learning how to turn a pen? New to turning or experienced at turning? Looking for a challenge? This is the workshop for you!

  • Come and learn how to turn pens with our secretary - Emma Hofmeyer. The half day workshop will teach you how to prepare a pen blank, turning techniques for the shape that you want, finishing in a variety of ways including superglue and will end up giving you two finished pens. You will love the day and soon find out how addictive it is!!

  • COST $30 per person and includes: 2 x Polaris Pen Kits (which will give you 2 finished pens), wood blanks to make 2 pens (choice of type of wood), use of bits n’ bobs for the lathe specific to pen making (club sets), glue and other sundries, workshop fee, morning tea and lunch.
